Hi, my name's Michael and I am a recovering non-gamer. Its been 4 years 6 months 3 days and two giant rats (width) since that dark period in my life where I wasn't gaming....
Not all of this blog will make sense, that is probably due to the author (actually entirely, but lets not let that clutter up the "prose"). Its really just an effort to jot down whats happening with my gaming and add a kind of journal to the two table-top RPG campaigns I am involved in at the moment.
Sometimes, the story gets pretty amusing, but as many of you who play RPGs know, its often a lot more interesting to those who were there and partaking of the banter (in and out of character) as well as those outrageous swings of humour in the dice fate gods. As a result I have zero expectations for this blog and don't feel I have a particular writing style or turn of phrase that will allow me to enter into the elite Pantheom of table-top RPG bloggers who I actually like to read and are popular ;-)
Having said that, if you have any constructive comments to help me improve my efforts here if you stumble across these musings, let me know.
Finally posts will be infrequent, as despite a very regular start to both my campaigns, this proved to be a bringer of false hope. We have now fallen into the painful reality of difficult, world-spanning schedules that - unlike the dice god's - are often not lining up.....
